Hi! I’m Jessica Morrison. Thanks for stopping by my site. Wild Earth Integration is the place where I mix together all the stuff that I love. (Well, most of it anyways.)

I’m a writer, illustrator, and integrative knowledge specialist. I have a degree in Zoology, a Minor in Ethics and a Masters of Science degree in Knowledge Integration. Basically, I’ve spent my life (so far) learning about animals, the natural world and the connections that bind us all together. And believe me, there are some pretty mind-blowing connections out there.

I write and create art about animals, nature and science. I do this because it’s my passion and I think the world will get tremendous value from us learning more about it. The Earth will be cleaner, the sun will shine brighter, animals will be happier and kids will frolic in meadows… you get the point. If you’re an artist or other creative sort, the natural world will give you more inspiration than you’d ever imagine.

But the natural world is in a bit of trouble lately. I have always felt that we humans (and wee humans, in the form of kids) should do our part. How? Any way we can.

So, instead of complaining, I figured I should do something about it. A portion of sales that come from anything on this blog – that includes any writing and illustration gigs I get my hands on – will go towards a charity or foundation that is doing its best to fix up the world. Because there are so many (large and small), I’m always open to emails and suggestions for where the next donations should go.

Now, I’m not wearing a cape, nor do I have a giant ‘S’ on my shirt (although superheroes are most welcome here), but I do think that a tribe of awesome people like us can do some good for the rest of the world. In my opinion, change starts with education, so let’s get started!

See you outside!

Jessica Morrison
