Thankyou for the gentle reminder and how giving doesn't always require money...but that our time is just as important to give. Maybe parents could give the kids a task of picking one or two things to do this week before Santa arrives? Keep them busy and learning about helping others.What can be done as a family makes it even more special! Maybe collect newspapers from around the neighbourhood ...and then take them to the local shelter...Or maybe gather up all the "single mittens and old, unused scarves or blankets" laying around and drop them off to an animal rehabilitation centre?
